Welcome to the learning unit "Case study teaching with digital aspects in VET"!
Effective case study teaching in vocational education and training relies on meaningful communication and interaction. With this learning unit you can explore how digital tools can enhance engagement and collaboration in your case study method. It is important to have the knowledge for digital realisation in VET as digital competences have become an important aspect in our technology-driven society and working world. In line with the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators, we assume that the digital competence of teachers should be understood as a professional competence rather than a (general) digital competence.

The unit is structured around key interaction types that shape the learning process:
- Teacher - Students: Direct interaction between you and your learners.
- Student - Students: Interaction in small-group collaboration.
- Students - Plenum: Engagement of the students within the larger learning group.
- Students - Externals: Connecting with industry experts or professionals to bring real-world insights into the case study.
