Welcome to the learning unit "Digital potential when designing case studies for VET"!

In essence, case studies are comprised of two main components: the teaching note and the case itself. The teaching note, which is intended solely for instructors and not for student use, should be crafted with careful attention to the target audience, didactic approach, context of the case study, procedural details (including processing steps and teaching organization), and opportunities for reflection.

The case should include a comprehensive introduction covering the who, what, where, when, and how; provide background information through company history or industry description; characterize the company; present the core problem situation as the central focus of the case; and offer a conclusion that includes potential discussion points. We aim to offer guidelines to help you develop case studies that are both practically relevant and pedagogically effective, thereby enhancing the learning experience.

How you can utilise the digital potential in these phases you will discover here. As TeC@ses is an EU-wide project, we cannot make any statements as to whether and to what extent you may use the tools presented in your specific school context. Please pay particular attention to the careful handling of personal data and, if in doubt, contact the relevant authorities in your region to find out about the applicable data protection and access regulations. In addition, please note that due to the pick-and-mix approach of the tool, some content relevant to different learning nuggets may be duplicated.
