Videos and screencasts in the process phase Closing

Designing the closing phase of case studies for vocational education with the use of media tools, such as videos and screencasts, can significantly enhance the learning experience. Althought the flipped classroom takes advantage of many technological tools, videos are often the central medium for conveying information. Screencasts are a type of instructional video that usually include screen recording and audio narration. A screencast can comprise anything from still images (for example, slides containing text or photographs) to full motion (for example, the movement of your mouse cursor, drawing or writing on slide, video clips from lab demonstrations, and so on). Screencasts can be enhanced with the inclusion of “call outs” (such as arrows or circles that emphasize certain parts of the screen image) or title cards (which are slides with text that introduce a new section of the screencast).

In the video, we list provide a few screencasting tips for instructional videos for the closing phase of designing business case studies for VET.
